REEL PADDLING FILM FESTIVAL 

California Canoe & Kayak presents the Third Annual Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour at Jack London Aquatic Center at 115 Embarcadero in Oakland on July 11, 2008 from 6:30 -9:30 pm.

This international event showcases the world's best whitewater, sea kayaking and canoeing action and lifestyle films of the year on screens in 75 cities across Canada, United States, and around the world. 

Expect to see hairy whitewater action, sea kayakers exploring remote coastlines, monster kayak fishing, bug-infested canoe expeditions, travel films, environmental documentaries and hilarious short films capturing the lighter side of the paddling life.

The Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour is produced by Rapid Media and brought to you by Teva.

The Third Annual JLAC Community Challenge
Wednesday, October 15, 2008, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at JLAC.  Wine, appetizers and the chance to hear from our youth participants and a special guest speaker.  This is the Jack London Aquatic Center's premiere fundraising event, free to attend.
